Nearly a decade ago, Episcopal Health Foundation (EHF) began polling Texans across the state with a simple goal in mind: to learn about health care affordability and access from the communities that experience these systems every day.
Over time, we've witnessed steady struggles, fluctuations, and small wins across the different categories of questions.
Notably, while there are fewer Texans who say that health care is difficult to afford, many still feel unseen by the state with a majority of Texans agreeing the state should do more to ensure that low-income families, children, and pregnant women have access to the care they need.
